FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I’ve never done yoga, where should I start?
A: Slow Flow is great for beginners or we can hook you up with an instructor for some private lessons!
Q: What do I need to bring to class?
A: Come with an open mind and heart. Wear comfortable clothes. Bring a yoga mat, if you don’t have one we have mat rentals. We have water, towels, tea, lockers, and all the props you’ll need for class. Eye pillows and warmer clothes or blankets are optional for sivasana.
Q: Do you offer mat rentals?
A: We sure do! We have Urbivore Cork Eco Mats available for rent, when you fall in love with it you can purchase them in the retail shop! They are the some of the best mats out there and they’re a Toronto based company – yay!
Q: I’m going on vacation, can I put my monthly/yearly package on hold?
A: Errr… we hate to say no, but no, packages can’t be put on hold. Feel like you have an extenuating circumstance that should be considered and would like to appeal this? Email firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: What’s with the weird building beside Toronto Yoga Co.?
A: Good question.
Q: What’s going on in the backyard of the shala?
A: You tell us! We were thinking of putting in a yoga deck for some outdoor classes, what should we do with the backyard?
Q: Will you ever offer classes other than yoga?
A: Yes! Check our Pop-Up schedule for a variety of other class offerings including Pilates, Floor Barre, Restorative, Candlelight Yin, YogaFit, Yoga HIIT, Kundalini, Nidra and more!
Q: Where should I park?
A: Street parking on Danforth Ave. isn’t too bad, free parking after 6:00pm Monday-Friday, after 6:00pm on Saturday and free all day Sunday!
Q: I’m running late!!!! Can I still come to class?
A: Text or email us and we will make every effort to get you into your class. If you have mat storage we’ll even place your mat down close to the door so you can sneak in.
